Drawing for me can be a menial task. I’m no stranger to the two dimensional plane, however using only the basics can be exhausting. While working in such mediums as sculpture, video performance, and mixed media; my drawing practices have been minimal, normally constructing mere studies of what will hopefully be. I find that in most circumstances I am equally excited about the study as I am the finished piece. There’s something about the flow of energy and the spark that happens when I draw that is unexplainable. The rules of construction and symmetry don’t necessarily apply, true experimentation can take place.
